What is Alpha?
Alpha is an open, informal space to dialogue and explore questions about faith, the person of Jesus, and what it all means. We want to hear your thoughts and questions as we explore these themes together without the pressured atmosphere that usually comes with these conversations.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is run all over the globe and is for everyone; all are welcome and no question is off limits. You are free to discuss as much or as little as you’d like, and there is no assumption of a background of Christian belief or knowledge.
What happens at Alpha?
Each evening includes a free meal, a short video on a topic related to the Christian faith, and small group discussions. The topics address questions from Who is Jesus? to How can I have faith? to Why and how do I pray?
When is Alpha?
Alpha kicks off on April 3rd and will run through May 29th. We’ll gather at Westside every Tuesday evening from 7 – 9PM for nine weeks with an optional weekend away. It’s a free course, and if at any point you feel like Alpha isn’t for you, there’s no pressure to return from week to week.
