At Westside, church isn’t just a Sunday activity - it’s an identity we live out together all week long. Westside Communities are the primary way that we practice being the church throughout the week, banding together as small groups of people across the city to experience the love of Jesus, learn the way of Jesus, and live on the mission of Jesus.
Westside Communities have three purposes:
Westside communities exist to help people experience the love of Jesus. We desire for our communities to be marked by hospitality, warmth, and inclusivity. Community is a place where people can find family and belonging.
Westside Communities exist to help people learn the way of Jesus. We aim for our communities to be realms of depth and study, where people can ask questions and explore Scripture. Community is a place where people can grow and mature as disciples.
Westside Communities exist to help people live on the mission of Jesus. We want our communities to be outposts of God’s Kingdom, where people discover what it looks like to live out their faith in practical ways. Community is a place where people can be equipped and encouraged for service and outreach.
