   God and Science Conference

Often there is a perceived conflict between God and science - is there room for both in a coherent and authentic view of the world? We have brought together a scientist, a philosopher, and a theologian to dive into this question. We will be considering some hot topics, as well as some of the big issues and questions. Our aim is to put God and science into healthy conversation, all through the lens of Scripture. This one-day event is an excellent opportunity to dive into this conversation and get equipped to engage people with questions in this area intelligently, confidently and effectively.

Foundations

The Gospel

We will take a look at how God loves us – He created us and has a plan for us! We’ll look at how God has worked throughout history to redeem us back from brokenness, so that we can flourish as He intended. This culminates in Jesus and the cross, the most amazing act of love, where God displays His love, mercy, and grace.

When: November 5th and 12th, 2:00-4:30pm

Welcome Box Supply Drive

Welcome Boxes are gift boxes given to vulnerable children within our local Foster Care system. These boxes provide children in a time of crisis with age appropriate items and toys to occupy their time while they await foster home placement. The boxes are a tangible act of love to show these children that they are important and cared about. Boxes contain items like journals, nightlights, toothbrushes and toothpaste, encouraging notes, toys, games, etc.
We are running severely low on supplies and boxes, so need help to finish out the year with enough boxes to give to kids. You can drop off supplies or finished boxes in the designated bins (found in the Kids Building) until November 12. For a list of supplies, and instructions for making boxes, click the link below.
